Thanks for signing my guestbook! I love your little Jiji icon. Your post on capitalization made me laugh. I dig your sense of humor. Keep on keepin' on.

I appreciate the commitment to an aesthetic but there are criticisms of long form lowercase text that go beyond being someone who Hates Fun™, namely a degradation of accessibility. People with sight and/or cognitive related disabilities might find your text hard to read or make sense of. You might not personally care, but it's not all about being a curmudgeon.
I just read your I miss slowly post. I also miss slowly too! Love a penpal! Most of all I like writing a postcard to friends. Keep on writing :)

I like your style! Don't stress about not writing Ulysses; the internet's a frontier for everyone. Write what matters, in a way that matters to you, and people will come. I certainly did! I know you're stressing about your future right now, so I just wanted to wish you well. You seem like a studious, conscientious person. Whatever happens next, the world has need of people like you. Good luck!
We don't have to be good at what we do to keep doing it. As long as it's bringing us joy, it's doing its job just fine. Keep writing ;)

thank you so much for your post on leaving social media. it's just how I feel. people talk about useless and unreal things all the time. it's so shocking! sending appreciation from Brazil, my friend (:

I liked you post on leaving social media. I did the same, and my nervous system is starting to function again. It's awesome. Attention span and sense of time is slowly coming back. Anyway, all the best with you're writing, man. You've got talent, and I hope you continue to write. I don't know if you're into funk-rock-jazz-folk, but you might like the Grateful Dead's "Blues For Allah" album.
I also relate with your leaving social media post. I think this is a time when you can no longer rely on passive comsuption of whatever is reccommended to you by some algorythm overlord. Instead, we must go out and find the many good things that are still being created online. Note that my "website" is a gopher site, available in the web through a proxy.
i related a lot with your leaving social media post. i too was caught off-guard with the new brainrot trend. doesn't it feel good to be looking from the outside? would that be the price of the unsurmountable fear of all truths?
i 100% agree when you wrote listening to a full album is like eating a whole meal as opposed to snacking single songs. to me, i like listening to albums because it feels like they take me on a ride, the songs would be the views, billboards, or the gas station. had fun reading your blog!
Dear monocyte, I’m really happy that you also made the switch to full length album listening as well! If you’d like, I’d love to share album suggestions :) Cheers~ keep on writing.
Hi, I just found your site from Discover (still deciding on if Bear is the platform for me) and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one feeling this way. I really like your blog style!
